That’s why Hearthstone delivers elite psychological evaluations, quickly and without cutting corners. You will work directly with a licensed clinical psychologist, never a trainee. You’ll have answers within 10 days. And because we’re not bound by insurance limitations, you’ll get a comprehensive, customized understanding of your child — not a rushed, partial picture.
- Clinician excellence: The same, fully licensed clinical psychologist, will be with you from start to finish. No externs learning as they go.
- Speed: No waiting months for your testing results. At Hearthstone, we employ only the most excellent clinicians, fully licensed and experts in their field. Because each clinician does only one evaluation per week, they are able to dedicate all of their time and focus to this task alone – meaning that we guarantee feedback within 10 days of the initial intake session provided that parents and teachers have done their part by promptly completing all evaluation measures we send to them and making themselves available for consultation meetings.
- Comprehensiveness and individualized attention: Practices offering insurance based testing are limited in the scope of assessment; insurance will not cover academic testing or consultations, and limits providers to a certain number of hours per evaluation. Because we are able to operate outside of the constraints of insurance requirements, we are free to give our full time, attention, and care to understanding you or your child. Working outside of insurance allows us to complete school observations and either face-to-face or phone consults with other people involved in your or your child’s care, which allows us to get a more comprehensive understanding of what makes your child special and their unique gifts and needs.
- Transparency and predictability: our fee schedule is clearly posted on our website. There are no surprises in our billing. For clients who need support with our fee structure, financing is available via CareCredit.
- Privacy and autonomy: because we do not work with insurance, what you do with the report and diagnosis you receive, is entirely within your control.
